Installing AcceliCAD is very similar whether you are installing the evaluation version or the fully licensed version.

The evaluation version is freely available for download from this website.

The licensed version can be downloaded from a link supplied to you when you purchase a license. At the same time you will be provided with a serial number.

When you have downloaded a distribution file XP users can doubleclick on it to begin installation.  Vista users should right click and then click Run as Administrator to execute.

Follow the prompts through the procedure.  When propmpted for a serial number licensed uses should copy and paste the serial number supplied into the text box.  Evaluation users can leave the default value in the serial number box.

When installation is complete XP users can start AcceliCAD any way they like.  Vista users should right click the desktop icon and click on Run as Administrator.  This is only required the first time Vista users run AcceliCAD.

Evaluation users have 30 days to trial AcceliCAD and no further installation action is required.

Licensed users now begin the second stage of licensing.  In AcceliCAD in the top menu select Help > Registration.  A browser window will open and a form will appear.  Some of the fields will be pre-populated with registration information.  Complete the form and click on Submit.  You will receive you authorisation code by email.  Set your email filters to accept mail from autodsys.com.

To license AcceliCAD start it and in the top menu select Help > Licensing.  Copy and paste the authorisation code into the appropriate text box and click OK.  AcceliCAD is now licensed and locked to your computer.
