New Features and Enhancements in 2011
- PDF Import (new in v2)
- Paperspace virtual "Paper" display (new in v2)
- Floating prompt menus modified to work more like AutoCAD's. Arrow key support and constant distance from cursor (new in v2)
- AutoCAD-like grid display (new in v2)
- Extra 50 Visual Lisp functions inc. string manipulation, registry access and file/folder control (new in v2)
- Etransmit packages all related files including xref's, fonts, and
images into a zip file with notes that can be sent to others via email
- Quick Select Select groups of objects for editing operations by
specifying matching properties such as layer, color, linetype, or
lineweight, or specific types of objects such as all polylines
- Find and Replace Search any text objects in the drawing including
TEXT, MTEXT, Attributes, Dimensions, or Hyperlinks and replace any or
all instances with new text as well as zoom to the location
- Array Wizard Dialog with point and click control of rectangular and polar arrays and preview prior to placing
- Workspace Manager Select from different pre-defined workspace
configurations or create your own. Default configurations include 2D
Drafting, 3D Basics, and 3D Modeling.
- Four different toolbar bitmap choices Choose from bitmaps that are
similar to AutoCAD 14-2002, AutoCAD 2004-2011 in blue or green, or
IntelliCAD 6.6 or later. Select the one that is most pleasing or
familiar to you.
- UCS Toolbar Enhancements All UCS features have been placed on a
toolbar along with a pull-down list of all available UCS's including 3D
views
- Viewpoint Toolbar Enhancements Select from standard 3D predefined viewpoints
- 3D Detailing Shapes Steel and wood shapes can now be created in 3D between two points or by following a polyline path
- Sheetset support - The Batch Plotting function will now open sheetset (sht) files and all layouts

- 2D Projector - create two-dimensional drawings of three-dimensional objects

- Batch plotting interface allows the plotting of multiple drawings
and layouts in one step. Different paper sizes, scales, and pen
settings can be applied to each plot. Each batch plot set can be saved
to a file for reuse the next time a set of printouts is required.
- System variable editor puts all of the drawing and system settings
in one place with tooltips and help strings to make it easier to
understand each setting. Configurations can be imported and exported to
disk so that they can be transferred between drawings or different
computers to improve compliance with office standards
- Enhanced attribute editing with the new EATTEDIT command
- Enhanced block creation with the new BBLOCK command
- New Toolbar pull-down for setting viewport scale
- New commands BTRIM and BEXTEND accept blocks as boundaries for trimming and extending entities
- New objects snap "FROM" locates entities relative to a point
- Quick dimensioning feature will dimension an entire part or plan in
one easy step. Methods supported include continuous, baseline,
staggered, ordinate, radius, and datum point.
- Dimension-driven editing, allowing a user to modify a dimension and see the object change to match the new dimension.
- Entity information window that displays relevant information about
an object when the user places the cursor over it. This feature also
works with ArchT objects to display the object type, style, and size.
- Snapping to model-space entities from paper-space viewports " Polar
angle tracking " Floating prompt menus that put command options right
at the cursor location
- Heads-up keyboard entry that allows angles, distances and text to be entered without looking at the keyboard.
